MAGNOLIA BOOK is published by Photographer John Connell

Photographer John Connell, specialized in Architecture, publishes a book on the Cliff project called MAGNOLIA, where he makes us travel through the symbols, colors and textures that interweave through the spaces of this residential home in Newport Beach.

As the photographer says at his introduction:

-"... "Magnolia" is a house that cannot be properly described with words alone. To that end, you will encounter few on your journey through this Picture Book...

To set the stone -literally- of the house itself, a fallen Magnolia leaf was used for inspiration in choosing an overall palette, which in essence provided me with a painted backdrop for all things photographed, both inside and out...a most unusual and rewarding assignment it was. "-
